Forschungsinteressen

My research focuses on improving the modeling of gravitational waves emitted by binaries of compact objects and using these models to analyze data from gravitational wave detectors. As detector sensitivities continue to increase, fast and accurate waveform models are essential to efficiently analyze the growing volume of data and to minimize systematic errors. In addition, capturing a broader range of physical effects, such as orbital eccentricity and spin precession, is crucial to fully exploit the scientific potential of gravitational wave observations. My work aims to address these challenges through the development and application of advanced waveform models.

Vita

I am from Spain and completed my Bachelor’s degree in Physics and my Master’s degree in Theoretical Physics at the Autonomous University of Madrid. I continued there for my Ph.D., working under the supervision of Dr. Juan García-Bellido on advancing gravitational wave data analysis and exploring new sources. After completing my Ph.D. in autumn 2025, I joined the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics as a postdoctoral researcher.
