Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics signs “Charta der Vielfalt”
The institute signed the diversity charter in order to express its commitment to diversity and equality of opportunity.
The Charta der Vielfalt is an initiative to promote diversity in companies and institutions. It was launched in 2006 and is supported by the Commissioner for the Federal Government for Migration, Refugees and Integration. More than 3,000 companies and institutions in Germany have already signed the Charter.
By signing the Charta der Vielfalt, the institute’s management acknowledges diversity as a valuable resource. We aim to create and maintain a working environment welcoming to people of all backgrounds, regardless of age, ethnic origin and nationality, gender, religion and worldview, physical and mental ability, sexual orientation and social background.
