Then studying physics could be just the right thing for you! On April 22, 2021 – Future Day 2021 – you can learn how to become a physicist and what you can do with such a degree at an online event of the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute) Hannover and the Institute for Gravitational Physics of Leibniz Universität Hannover.

The Future Day 2021 will take place online using the video conferencing software Zoom. The “Zoom client for meetings” must be downloaded from the Zoom homepage and must be installed on your computer. This can be done in advance or directly before the start of the online event. For those who want to do a tech rehearsal, we will start the online event well before the official event on Future Day. The online coordinates and all times will be sent to all participants by e-mail beforehand.

Registration

We offer a total of 60 places, 40 for girls and 20 for boys. The event is suitable for students in grades 8 to 10.

To register for our online Future Day, please fill out the online form completely. This will let us know that you would like to participate in our Future Day. Registration will be open from March 15, 201 at 12:00 pm until March 22, 2021 at 12:00 pm. If more people register than there are free places, we will draw lots to determine the participants.

Update: The registration was closed on April 21.

Note for parents

Dear parents,
our offer is suitable for students in grades 8 to 10. We would be happy if your children register with us themselves. Of course you can support your offspring, but in the interest of all potential participants we ask you to pay attention to the passions of your children. Are your children really interested in physics or do they just want to spend Future Day with their best friend?
