Open day at the Golm Science Park on 30.6.01 from 10.00 to 16.00

The non-university institutes of the Science Park Golm near Potsdam are opening their doors together for the first time. The programme with guided tours of the institutes, experiments, lectures and hands-on activities offers hands-on science and shows the whole diversity of the institutes: Einstein's theory of relativity, green genetic engineering, intelligent plastics and the nanoworld of membranes.

From molecules to the Universe

The Max Planck Institutes for Gravitational Physics, Colloids and Interfaces, Molecular Plant Physiology and the Fraunhofer Institute for Applied Polymer Research invite you to experience science and research live. Visitors will gain astonishing insights into the very small and the very large dimensions.

High-tech research in Golm

The above-mentioned non-university research institutes are located in Golm, in the immediate vicinity of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at the University of Potsdam. Thus, one of the most modern research locations in the Berlin-Brandenburg area is growing up just outside Potsdam. Education, basic research, development and application are closely interlinked here and offer the best conditions for synergies and cooperation.
