Main Focus

I am interested in using the tools of numerical relativity to study the phenomenology of the strong field regime of gravity in theories beyond General Relativity (GR). The latter may arise from high energy completions of GR or may be motivated by a dynamical explanation of the current self-accelerated expansion of the Universe.

Curriculum Vitae

I obtained my Bachelor's degree in Physics at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM, Mexico City, Mexico) in 2017 and completed the Diploma Programme in High Energy, Cosmology and Astroparticle Physics at the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP, Trieste, Italy) in 2018. In 2022, I obtained my PhD in Astroparticle Physics at the the Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati (SISSA, Trieste, Italy) under the supervision of Prof. Enrico Barausse, where I worked on the strong-field regime of gravity in theories beyond General Relativity. I joined the AEI in October 2022.
