The time flows mercilessly, strictly directed, can be neither rewound nor braked and corrodes thereby things and beings. With Albert Einstein's theory of relativity, an epochal caesura occurred in the 20th century, which seems to completely detach scientific cognition from the subjective awareness of what time is and also puts every philosophical reflection on the subject of time to a hard test.
