Main Focus
My main scientific focus is the simulation of neutron star merger with numerical relativity. I am particularly interested in the connection between the various observable phenomena, such as the emitted gravitational waves and the kilonova, and the underlying physical processes.
Curriculum Vitae
I completed my Master of Science at the University of Potsdam. In my Master's thesis, I worked on simulations of the dynamical ejecta emitted during the merger of neutron stars and modelled the kilonova light curves that are produced.
