Main Focus

My research aims at extracting as much information as possible from gravitational-wave observations. I am particularly interested in Bayesian analysis in order to test General Relativity and to perform hierarchical population studies.

Curriculum Vitae

I first graduated as a nuclear engineer following a double degree between France (CentraleSupélec) and Brazil (UFRJ), my two home countries. I then decided to move to fundamental physics, and did my Master at the Paris-Saclay University on "physics of the two infinities": from very small to very large scales. Following this I did my PhD at the University of Paris under the supervision of Stas Babak and the co-supervision of Enrico Barausse on "Tests of General Relativity and Bayesian population study with gravitational waves from coalescing binaries.", focusing to the LISA mission. In 2021, I moved to the AEI, where I intend to carry on my work on the study of massive black holes population with LISA, but also applying similar techniques to LIGO/Virgo events.
