My current research interests mainly focus on the interplay between gravitational physics and cosmology. In this context, Gravitational Waves (GWs) are a powerful and strongly promising tool to probe the dark side of our Universe, filled, according to the standard cosmological paradigm, by Dark Matter and Dark Energy. The signature these components leave on the propagation of GWs may be used to test different candidates. With this aim, I am working on the development of gravitational lensing theory applied to GWs.

In 2019 I graduated as Theoretical Physicist at the University of Bologna. My master thesis was mainly developed at the Institute for Theoretical Physics in Heidelberg, where I spent a semester as a visiting student in the Cosmology group led by Luca Amendola. There, I investigated the formation of dark matter halos in the primordial Universe by a novel production model, which provide for an enhanced gravitational attraction between dark matter particles at early time. After graduation, I carried out a follow-up study and a short project on cosmography. In July 2020, I started my PhD in Buonanno’s division at the AEI.
