At the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics, physicists and mathematicians explore many different aspects of Albert Einstein's General Theory of Relativity and beyond. For example, we are investigating whether there was a Big Bang and how we can study extreme phenomena such as black holes and neutron stars in space.
