Forschungsinteressen

I am interested in astronomy and astrophysics related to gravitational waves (GW). My work till now had focused on the detection of short duration GW signals, mainly compact binary coalescences (CBC) in LIGO-Virgo data as a member of LVC. I am also interested in the characterization of CBC and multi-messenger astronomy. Currently, I am also working on building fast GW models which can be used in the characterization of binary black hole mergers.

Vita

I completed my PhD in 2018 at IUCAA, Pune, India (Affiliated to JNU, India) under the supervision of Dr Sanjit Mitra on the efficient detection methods for gravitational waves. Before that, I was a masters student at the department of physics, University of Pune, India. I joined AEI-Potsdam as a postdoc since Oct 2018.
