I am working in numerical relativity using the pseudo spectral codes
SpECTRE and bamps. My research focus lies in formalisms for the
construction of initial data for numerical relativity simulations.
Furthermore I am interested in the simulation and investigation of
general relativistic binary systems.
I am also working on simulations studying the critical collapse of a scalar field coupled to general relativity.

I studied physics at the university of Rostock from 2008 to 2013. After graduating I worked in the statistical physics group in Rostock working on ab initio simulations of hot dense plasmas. In 2015 I started my PhD in the numerical relativity group at the Friedrich-Schiller-Universität Jena. In my dissertation I studied the numerical solution of elliptic partial differential equations with applications in general relativity. Since 2018 I am a postdoc at the AEI.
