I am currently exploring the signatures of modified theories of gravity
on gravitational-wave observations. In particular, I am interested in
theories where black holes can manifest non-perturbative phenomena. I am
also working on developing an effective-one-body formalism in modified
theories of gravity.
Here are links to my publications: from INSPIRE, and from the ADS database.
I received my BSc degree from Alexandria University in 2016. During
my undergraduate study, I did research on some of the phenomenology
expected from a quantum theory of gravity, such as the implications of a
minimum measurable length scale. In August 2016, I started my PhD at
the University of Maryland, College Park, and in January 2018, I joined
Prof. Buonanno’s group at the AEI.
