Main Focus

I work at the interface between waveform modeling and data analysis for the future LISA mission. My focus is on bringing the latest waveform models for massive black hole binaries into the global fit pipeline, finding the right balance between accuracy and computational cost.

Curriculum Vitae

021-2024: Bachelor's degree in Physics at the University of Zurich. Thesis advisor: Prof. Philippe Jetzer.

2024-2026: Master's degree in Physics at ETH Zurich. Thesis advisors: Prof. Michele Vallisneri and Dr. Arianna Renzini. My Master's thesis characterized the gravitational-wave confusion from Galactic double white dwarfs and its impact on which sources LISA can resolve.

2026 (May–September): Research Assistant at ETH Zurich, supervised by Dr. Arianna Renzini. I extended my thesis work into a paper studying the time-dependence of the confusion background for LISA.
In August 2026, I was awarded the EPJ Best Poster Award for a poster on this work at the Swiss Physical Society Annual Meeting.

In September 2026, I joined the Astrophysical and Cosmological Relativity department at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics, as a PhD student supervised by Prof. Alessandra Buonanno.
