Main Focus

My research focuses on the theoretical aspect of the Large Scale Structure (LSS) of our Universe. I work on beyond Standard Model of Cosmology models, specializing in scalar-tensor theories of gravity. These theories are alternatives to the Cosmological Constant, an exotic component that is added in the Einstein Filed Equations to explain the observed current acceleration of our Universe.

I am interested in developing and testing new numerical tools for modified gravity theories that can probe the non-linear scales of our Universe, where the bulk of information of Stage-IV LSS surveys will reside. With these new methods, we will be able to extract constraints on modified gravity parameters, thus, increasing our precision on tests of gravity at cosmological scales. I am also interested on studying gravitational lensing of gravitational waves.

Curriculum Vitae

I completed my PhD at the PPGCosmo program based at the Universidade Federal do Espirito Santo in Brazil, under the supervision of Professor Felipe Falciano. During my PhD I worked for one year at the Institute of Cosmology and Gravitation in Portsmouth. During this time I worked with Professors David Wands and Kazuya Koyama on developing a formalism to create relativistic modified gravity N-Body simulations. I joined the AEI in August 2022 as a Humboldt Research Fellow to work with Group Leader Miguel Zumalacarregui in the department of Professor Alessandra Buonanno.
