Dr. Vijay VarmaMarie Curie Fellow
Astrophysical and Cosmological Relativity
My research is focused on numerical relativity and gravitational wave modeling. In general, I am interested in relativistic astrophysics, particularly involving compact objects such as black holes and neutron stars. For more details, please go to my personal webpage.

I completed my PhD in Physics at Caltech in 2019, under the supervision of Yanbei Chen and Mark Scheel. After that, I spent a year as a postdoctoral scholar at Caltech and a year as a Klarman fellow at Cornell. Since July 2021, I have been a Marie Curie fellow at the AEI, working in Harald Pfeiffer's research group in Alessandra Buonanno's department.
