Triana

The Triana sofware project is an open-source workflow manager with strong orientation toward peer-to-peer Grid computing on the modern internet and Web. I initiated the project at Cardiff University around 1990, when it was originally called Grid. Its first purpose was to provide a quick programming environment for gravitational wave data analysis for the GEO600 project. After Ian Taylor joined the project in 1994 and converted it from C++ to Java, its functionality and scope grew considerably. The project today is managed principally by Taylor at Cardiff University.
