The Cauchy problem for the Einstein equations
In November 1993 I gave some lectures at the University of Leipzig on the
Cauchy problem for the Einstein equations. These lectures were intended to
be accessible to students, and so I tried to keep the necessary background
in differential geometry and analysis to a minimum.
