about me
I am a lecturer at
the Department
of Mathematical Sciences
of Durham University. My main
area of research deals with
(quantum) field theory, gravity and string theory, but I am also
interested in applications of mathematics to biology, and in
computer algebra. You will find
more details on what I work on by visiting the other pages on this site.
Until recently, I was an NWO VIDI fellow at
the Institute for
Theoretical Physics of Utrecht
University, The Netherlands. Before that, I was at the
Albert-Einstein-Institute
for Gravitational Physics
in Golm, Germany, at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland,
at DAMTP in Cambridge,
UK and
at NIKHEF in Amsterdam, The
Netherlands.
