The IMPRS for Mathematical and Physical Aspects of Gravitation, Cosmology and Quantum Field Theory aims to promote research in mathematical physics in an area related in the widest sense to Einstein's theory of general relativity.
The Albert Einstein Institute Hannover offers the possibility to earn a Bachelor or Master degree in cooperation with the Leibniz Universität Hannover. This webpage shows currently offered topics.
The University of Potsdam and the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute) offer a crash course on the physical and mathematical foundations of gravity. This course can be attended by students holding an intermediate diploma in Physics or Mathematics. The lectures will be given in English.
The AEI occasionally supervises student internships. These can only be agreed for students who are able to participate in the activities of one of the research groups. For internships enquire via email to the press officer of the relevant institute.
