The focus of my research has been on measuring properties of neutron stars from gravitational-wave observations. This work includes:

- Waveform modeling for the inspiral and merger of binary neutron star and neutron-star-black-hole systems using results from numerical and analytical relativity.
- Reduced order modeling for accelerating waveform evaluation.
- Bayesian parameter estimation techniques to measure matter effects and the equation of state of neutron stars.

As part of the LIGO Scientific Collaboration, I have also worked on other projects including:

- Determining the impact of calibration errors on the significance of search pipelines.
- Calculating upper limits on the rates of BNS and NSBH mergers from Advanced LIGO data.
