Hermes: A semantic conversion tool from LaTeX to XML+MathML+Unicode

Hermes is a research prototype.
This tool is designed to help scientists e-publish their LaTeX works on the web.
Hermes transforms an arbitrary LaTeX document, containing arbitrary mathematical expressions, into an XML file which is suitable for library archiving, and for generating XML representations for the web-browsers.
The latter enable human readers to reuse complex mathematical expressions or other structured knowledge contained in the document.
