Research at the Max Planck Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert Einstein Institute) is aimed at investigating Einstein’s relativity and beyond: mathematics, quantum gravity, astrophysical relativity, gravitational wave astronomy, data analysis and cosmology. The institute is located in Potsdam (theoretical branch) and in Hannover (experimental branch).
