 The Theoretical Cosmology group at the Max-Planck-Institute for Gravitational Physics (Albert-Einstein-Institute) in Potsdam, Germany, invites applications for a postdoctoral position in the subject area of early universe cosmology. The group’s research interests lie in phenomenological models of the early universe, bouncing cosmologies, connections between cosmology and fundamental physics and, in recent times, especially in quantum cosmology. Applicants should hold, or be near completion of, a Ph.D. in physics or mathematics. Demonstrated research capabilities in cosmology are highly desirable. 

Salary and benefits will be according to the German public service pay scale. The position is limited to two years, and the preferred starting date is December 1st, 2017 (with some flexibility).
