Checklist Upon Arrival
If you are planning on staying for more than 90 days, there are a few formalites to take care of once you arrive. Below is a checklist of what needs to be done, in order to ease your transition to the institute at the Potsdam/Berlin location.
- Health Insurance (if you do not already have health insurance)
- Registration of Residence (“Anmeldung”)
- Bank Account
- Residence Permit (“Aufenthaltstitel”, only for non-EU/EAA citizens)
- As soon as all of these steps are completed, please forward the above-mentioned documents to the Human Resources (HR) Department (firstname.lastname@example.org), which handles all employment contracts.
